Holiday Inn Express Salt Lake City Downtown by IHG

I stayed here while attending a conference across the street, and I was very happy with my stay. The front desk person was so helpful when I checked in! Then the room was clean and in good shape. The gym (there are 2!) was empty and the machines worked. The breakfast was well stocked and kept clean. The laundry room was also in good shape, and the front desk was able to get me quarters to use it. Overall a great hotel experience, and I would certainly stay here again!

Went so that I could take my kids swimming. The pool was really cold. We were the only ones there all day. The breakfast was one of the better ones that I've had. Overall great time.

A very nice hotel for the money. My room was spacious and clean, the front desk was nice and accommodating and the breakfast was very good. I really enjoyed the fact that there were biscuits and gravy.

Selected this property for proximity to airport after having finished touring the 5 national parks. Wanted to spend a day and a half in the city to see what they have to offer. Clean, comfortable and conveniently located to many restaurants and stores. Breakfast was nice and well stocked. Didn’t patronize the attached restaurant, but asked some folks and they approved. Parking, while paid, was very convenient. Did a city tour and they picked up and dropped off right at the hotel. Super friendly staff. Stay on the 6th floor and loved the view. Decently priced for “downtown”. Would recommend.

Chavonne at the the front desk was amazing. She was kind and super helpful. The cleaning staff was amazing. Everything stayed super clean. I saw the cleaning staff constantly mopping the lobby floor and wiping the elevator doors. I’ve never seen a cleaning staff work so hard. Our room was super clean. Location was super convenient to everything. Town was safe and walkable (except for it being so cold). Uber comes in handy for keeping you warm as you move about SLC in the winter. Breakfast was really good with a large variety of everything you could need. There’s also a restaurant on site if you don’t want to go out in the cold. The pool and hot tub were very warm. The sauna was closed.

Great central location within walking distance of the Temple Square area. There is a good buffet breakfast included and an attached restaurant for those who prefer an alternative and want to pay for the meal. Thete are several other hotels surrounding the building and restaurants within walking distance. There us also an indoor shopping mall two blocks away with a variety of stores (e.g., Nordstrom and Macy's). If you need a pharmacy, it us near Macy's on Main Street.

Absolutely lovely hotel, very large comfortable room. The front desk staff was SO sweet and friendly and greeted us with large smiles each time we came in and best of all, it was right across the street from the Salt Palace Convention center.

Great hotel. I had the pleasure of teaching CPR and first aid there today. I’m excited to tell you they have an. AED just inside the front lobby. They check it and keep it in service. They also have the pediatric key for their AED!
